Beaver-Induced Groundwater-Surface Water Interactions in Southern New England Wetlands

Published:

Model-Data Integration Hydrology (MDIH) Lab, University of Connecticut — advised by Prof. Lijing Wang

Field investigation of beaver-induced groundwater-surface water interactions in Southern New England wetlands, integrating passive and active seismic surveys, streamflow measurements, and groundwater well data collected near beaver pond sites (UConn Forest, Fenton-Ruby Park). This work supports a model-data integration approach linking field observations to hydrologic models, presented as a poster at AGU 2025 (New Orleans) and as a talk at BeaverCon 2026 (Minnesota).
